The Data Governance Foundation Senior Analyst is responsible for contributing to the directional strategy and assisting in creation and modification of Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy. The focus of this role may be on one or more of the following areas: assisting in identification, measurement and reporting, data policy adoption and compliance, data controls framework performance and issue management process, and regulatory and audit response and action tracking. **Team/Role Overview** Our team plays a central role in strengthening Citi’s data management capabilities within the Finance division, with a mandate that is deeply aligned to the firm’s broader risk, regulatory, and transformation agenda. As Citi continues to enhance the integrity, accessibility, and strategic use of financial data across the organization, our team operates as a key enabler—designing and implementing the data foundations that support both day‑to‑day Finance operations and long‑term enterprise objectives. This is an established but rapidly evolving team, shaped by Citi’s multi‑year commitment to building more robust data structures, improving data quality, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory expectations. The team collaborates closely with partners across Finance, Risk, Operations & Technology, and various transformation and regulatory programs. On a daily basis, we work with data owners, process leads, technology developers, and control functions to drive consistency, resolve data issues, and embed sustainable data management practices across the organization.
