Medical Data Team supports an industry-leading Medical team, generating and communicating compelling medical evidence that changes the practice of medicine for the benefit of patients and shapes the future of AstraZeneca (AZ). The medical data foundation (MDF) seeks to make AI ready data available to the Medical business. The Associate Director, MDF (ADMDF) will enhance the way we capture, organize, and leverage data to surface and deliver insights, to increase business performance. We are seeking an individual to partner with IT to establish good data governance practices and develop a strategy for leveraging data to gain a deeper insight into AZ’s business ADMDF will partner with the analytics teams, our medical stakeholders, external vendors, and our IT partners to ensure that our data assets are governed effectively enabling us to deliver seamless analytics, drive business value and maximize the value of our existing technology platforms. They will take responsibility for data product management, self-service analytics, and metrics governance. ADMDF will operate with a high level of interactive communication, working with a broad range of partners on all levels, to set a clear direction and a data strategy. This will include working with other Data Offices to support AI enablement and build more holistic, enterprise-aligned insights ADMDF will be working independently as well as in matrixed teams, providing leadership and defining collaborative data governance.
