What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least 6-18 months of Data Engineering or Software Engineering work experience, Experience building scalable data pipelines, Experience building powerful reporting tools, Experience with building backend applications, primarily working with APIs and databases
Nice to Have
Exposure to a dynamic, startup environment, Knowledge of a modern data stack, Experience with a SOA architecture
What You'll Do.
Maintain and improve warehouse governance
Implement improvements in platform operations
Build and maintain pipelines that ingest large amounts of data from various sources
Write various styles of automated tests to ensure operational reliability and data integrity
Create data models for analytical and marketing purposes

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build scalable and highly available data pipelines using modern tech and tools on one of Canada’s fastest-growing startups. As a Data Engineer, you’ll build highly reliable and scalable ELT pipelines for large datasets (we do over 10 million searches/day).
