What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database administration, or data architecture, Proven experience designing and optimizing scalable database architectures for analytical workloads, including query performance tuning (indexing, partitioning, caching), Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated data ingestion, transformation, validation, and loading pipelines, SQL skills with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases, Proficiency in Python or R for data transformation, automation, or pipeline development, Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation, Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) for cloud-hosted data solutions, Knowledge of FedRAMP requirements and cloud security best practices, Proficiency using Git with documented development practices, Experience designing data models for analytics (e. g. , dimensional star/snowflake and/or normalized relational models), Experience collaborating with government program stakeholders and security/privacy personnel, and presenting technical deliverables to diverse audiences, Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Tier 4 (High-Risk) Public Trust and HSPD-12/PIV credentialing, Ability to travel approximately 10% as needed

As a Data Engineer / Data Modeler, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining robust data architectures that enable large-scale analytics and support mission-critical government programs. You will collaborate closely with technical teams, security experts, and stakeholders to ensure data solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with federal standards.
