About the Role Platform Science is looking for a Data Engineer for our Core Product Development team in Chennai. In this role, you will be heavily involved in the design and development of data solutions leveraging Power BI and Snowflake. You will apply advanced data mining techniques, perform statistical analysis, and build high-quality prediction systems integrated directly into our global software products to transform raw IoT and telematics data into actionable business intelligence. Essential Responsibilities Data Mining & Feature Engineering: Select key features, build and optimize classifiers using machine learning techniques, and perform data mining using state-of-the-art methods. Pipeline Integration: Extend the company’s data infrastructure with third-party sources of information and enhance data collection procedures to include all data relevant for building robust analytic systems. Data Quality Assurance: Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of large-scale datasets used for downstream analytics and predictive modeling. Analysis & Automation: Perform ad-hoc analysis, present insights clearly to stakeholders, and build automated anomaly detection systems while continuously tracking thei
