Data Engineer Obligo is a Fintech / Real Estate-Tech startup looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data team. You'll own our data architecture, pipelines, and custom Python tooling end-to-end, partnering closely with our analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to keep the platform reliable, performant, and ready to power data-informed decisions and AI across the company. As a Data Engineer, you will: Infrastructure AI helps you go faster, not skip the hard parts Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed data processing Comfortable owning systems end-to-end with minimal supervision Strong fundamentals in data modeling, pipelines, and SQL Nice-to-Have Hands-on experience with Databricks (or willingness to ramp up fast) Experience building internal tooling / frameworks for other engineers and analysts to use Background in Fintech, PropTech, or another data-sensitive domain Experience with security and compliance for data platforms (PII, access controls) About Obligo Obligo is the simplest way to establish trust between renters and landlords worldwide.
