Must Have
5+ years of professional experience working with relational databases and data engineering initiatives, experience with SQL Server and/or Azure SQL environments, hands-on experience with Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL, Experience migrating schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, indexes, and related database objects, Ability to analyze and convert Oracle SQL / PL-SQL logic into Azure SQL-compatible equivalents, understanding of relational database design principles, Experience with query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning, experience troubleshooting database compatibility and migration issues, Experience performing data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and migration analysis, experience with data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing, Experience identifying and resolving data quality and consistency issues, Ability to support production migration and post-migration stabilization activities, Advanced Transact-SQL (T-SQL), SQL development experience across Oracle and Microsoft SQL environments, Experience optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and database objects, understanding of scalability, maintainability, and database performance best practices, Experience working with Azure SQL environments, Experience collaborating with ETL and Azure Data Factory (ADF) teams, documentation and communication skills, Ability to work cross-functionally with QA, architecture, engineering, and business stakeholders

This role will focus on analyzing existing Oracle databases, migrating schemas and data structures, converting PL/SQL logic into Azure SQL-compatible solutions, and ensuring migrated environments are optimized, scalable, and reliable.
