The candidate will join a team responsible for building scalable, high-performance databases and components that support regulatory, business analytics (metrics reporting), and operational risk reporting. This global team is made up of highly technical members who can move comfortably between hands-on development and project management. We run multiple projects across several business areas at the same time. Because the business owners and subject matter experts are spread across the globe, strong, proactive communication is essential. You will be expected to collaborate closely with our operations partners to define project requirements. Development follows an agile methodology grounded in Scrum (timeboxing, daily scrum meetings, retrospectives, and so on), Kanban Jira boards, and XP best practices (continuous integration, refactoring, unit testing, and so on).
