Full Job Description
Data Collection Specialists will need to learn quickly, execute the collection procedure accurately, record data, and document any needed information associated to data. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills. S/He should be able to contribute to improvements in data collection projects by identifying any issues in tools and suggesting enhancements and understand changes to collection protocol in response to data needs and workflows. Passion for data, efficiency, and accuracy as well as proactive behavior in addressing issues and problems is a huge plus. Basic Qualifications: - Experience in natural language data labeling, data annotation, linguistic annotation or other forms of data markup - Excellent communication, strong organizational skills and very detailed-oriented - Experience working in a corporate environment - Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment Practical knowledge of machine learning data processing needs and trade-offs Experience working with prototype assets Experience in research or data collection Experience with any scripting languages and Unix/Linux environment is a plus - A good sense of humor, a positive attitude, and great team work skills are a must Experience using MS Office, Excel, Mac OS, Confluence, JIRA, and Wiki tools.
