Must Have
4+ years relevant work in data center or critical environment, Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Nice to Have
4+ years data center or mission critical facilities experience, Knowledge of electrical systems in critical Data Center operations, Knowledge of mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations
What You'll Do.
Manage data center changes/events/incidents/problems
Oversee investigation
Plan and execute maintenance/repairs of Data Center (Electrical/Mechanical/Fire
Manage assets and inventory
Develop and maintain method statements
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures
Develop and maintain emergency response procedures
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Ensure standardization and consistency with best-in-class operating practices
Develop and deliver engineering reports
Ensure adherence to contracted deliverables including SLAs and
Provide hands on facility support
Oversee technical compliance auditing
Manage information flow during incidents
Provide regular updates to management during incidents
Review incident reports
Document periodic trend summaries
Provide updates and recommended actions to management

This position within Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) requires broad Data Center knowledge with Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in as many specific fields as possible. The location for this job to be discussed, as there may be opportunities in several India locations. This position serves as the primary operational resource to support ADSIPL within its owned and operated Data Centers in India. This position will provide a central point of ownership and accountability for the overall ‘hands-on’ management of the Mechanical, Electrical (M&E) and across ADSIPL’s portfolio of Data Centers in India. This position will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the critical infrastructure supporting IT operations within the Indian Data Center space.
