Eligibility Requirements

Rota-based shift schedule covering Monday to Sunday, including morning, day, and night rotations., Act as an escalation point for L1 engineers for complex cabling, hardware, power or environmental issues., Champion safety standards, including correct lifting practices, ESD handling, power safety, and risk identification., Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 coverage for critical infrastructure incidents.

Salary range: £35,000-£45,000 The Role: We are seeking Level 2 Data Centre Engineers to support ongoing operations at our customers data centre in Hayes. This role is hands-on and business-critical, ensuring the smooth installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of data centre infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting, break-fix and maintenance of high-performance datacentre systems that include GPUs, networking, cooling, and storage technologies. This role is critical to guaranteeing uptime, performance, and reliability of infrastructure and requires strong collaboration with engineering, operations, and vendor partners in order to meet our SLAs. Key responsibilities: - Deliver advanced smart hands support across the clients data centre environments, including complex racking, stacking, structured cabling, hardware lifecycle tasks, and on-site diagnostics. - Independently execute and oversee technical migration, installation, and engineering engagements to a high standard. - Collaborate closely with Consultancy, Project/Programme Management, and customer technical teams to lead onsite execution under defined
