Must Have
2-3 years data center technician experience, Associate or Bachelor's degree IT, Written and verbal communication, Advanced technical troubleshooting skills, General computer hardware configuration, Knowledge of Ethernet network topology
Nice to Have
Experience with Ubuntu/Debian Linux, Experience with Dell systems, Experience with Cisco Nexus switches, Experience with Mellanox switches, Experience with Nvidia switches, CompTIA Linux+ certification, CompTIA Network+ certification, Shipping logistics experience, Previous data center experience, Military training
What You'll Do.
Act as local point of contact
Conduct daily inspections
Operate computing equipment
Install computing equipment
Plan downtime procedures
Maintain rack schedule
Process HDD RMA shipments
Coordinate drive destruction
Run hardware diagnostics
Replace failing parts
Remove decommissioned hardware
Maintain spare parts inventory
Install fiber cabling
Install copper cabling
Oversee service providers
Assist with receiving
Provide emergency response
