For our Data Centers in the Huesca area, we are looking for a Data Center Security Specialist (DSS) to manage the day by day physical security operations of our sites. Under the direct leadership of the Cluster Security Manager, the DSS maintains the physical security posture of their assigned sites. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS Data Centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and innovative. They enjoy teamwork and looking for continuous improvement in security posture and processes. Key job responsibilities - Coordinate day-to-day activities and site security operations. - Direct and manage contract guard force to run daily data center operations. - Provide guidance and leadership to contract security provider personnel. - Ability to walk a facility and observe security gaps in physical barriers, security officer procedure, policies, surveillance equipment, and alarm points. - Evaluate the contract security provider performance and service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as needed. - Foster working relationships to educate data center stakeholders on false alarm reductions. - Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at and analyzing data. - Verify Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standards. - Assist in all media integrity related Programs. - Assist in the training of new and existing personnel on behavioral compl
