Full Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides storage, compute and other solutions to customers, globally. Our customers trust, and expect, us to protect their data with impeccable physical security, continually evolving security practices to mitigate risk. The Data Center (DC) Security Team provides physical security solutions to protect AWS personnel, AWS facilities and information of our customers. For our Data Centers in the Zaragoza area, we are looking for a highly motivated, customer-obsessed Data Center Security Manager (DSM) to provide hands-on support to our Data Center Infrastructure Operations team across the Zaragoza Cluster. As a DSM, you will be tasked with running day-to-day data center security operations, supporting and executing security projects and programs, as well as assuring audit compliance with AWS policies and procedures. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS Data Centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Key job responsibilities - Coordinate day-to-day activities and site security operations. - Direct and manage contract guard force to run daily data center operations. - Provide guidance and leadership to contract security provider personnel. - Evaluate the contract security provider performance and service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as needed. - Handle site security incidents, escalations or any other security related issues. - Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large scale event response when needed. - Participate in re-occurring data center security audits and reviews. - Executes established compliance processes with AWS policies, standards, guidelines and relevant legal and regulatory requirements. - Provides
