What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience, Knowledge of electrical systems in critical Data Center operations, written and verbal communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Experience developing solutions and executing plans, Familiarity with applicable local building codes, Background as a resident engineer, Experience dealing well with ambiguity, Prioritizing needs, Delivering measurable results in an agile environment
What You'll Do.
Learn and Understand data center design
Troubleshoot problems
Conduct Root Cause Analysis
Conduct Corrective Action
Support Operations Team
Direct Support to Operations technicians
Provide ad-hoc trainings
Review operating procedure
Own design for data center upgrades
Design solutions for capacity
Design solutions for availability
Design solutions for safety
Provide influence over designs
Provide engineering support during construction
Provide engineering support during commissioning
Interface with design engineering team
Interface with server hardware team
Interface with environmental health and safety team
Travel to other regions
Work on concurrent projects
Be a leader within the group
Be a leader within other teams
Offer creative out of the box solutions
Provide technical guidance to operations
How You'll Work.
