Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field., 5+ years of experience in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role on large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects., Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting complex construction documents, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and specifications., Familiarity with RFI and submittal management processes and standard industry workflows., written and verbal communication comfortable producing professional documentation under time pressure., Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without letting details fall through the cracks.
Nice to Have
Experience on data center, mission-critical facility, or industrial construction projects (e. g. , manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical)., Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, or similar construction management and document control platforms., Familiarity with data center industry standards: Uptime Institute Tier Classification, TIA-942, ASHRAE thermal guidelines., Knowledge of critical facility systems: UPS, PDU, generator plants, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH cooling, BMS/DCIM, structured cabling., OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification., Experience working in a GC (General Contractor) or owner’s representative capacity., Commissioning (Cx) experience or familiarity with Cx processes for mechanical and electrical systems.

About the Role We’re looking for a Data Center Project Engineer to provide technical and administrative support to the on-site Senior Project Manager and construction team. In this role, you will be the documentation and quality backbone of the build keeping RFIs moving, submittals on track, field quality verified against design intent, and closeout organized for a clean handover to Operations. TensorWave’s facilities house GPU racks running 40–100kW+ each, built to the highest standards of reliability and precision. The work you do on-site directly enables the AI infrastructure our customers depend on.
