Must Have
Two-year technical degree, 1-4 years equivalent experience, Network cabling termination, Day-to-day maintenance activities, Computer user hardware skillset, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, Web browser utilization, Working knowledge of electricity, Data center cooling systems knowledge, Airflow management techniques knowledge, Ability to multitask, Prioritize activities, Define problems, Collect data, Establish facts, Draw sound conclusions, Documenting policies and procedures
Nice to Have
Familiarity with telco central office equipment, Familiarity with transport systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot problems

The Data Center Technician supports the ongoing monitoring and daily management of building systems and physical infrastructure at Lightedge facilities. They utilize standard operating procedures to perform and/or coordinate the routine maintenance and optimization of all building systems, including power, HVAC, biometric security, and fire suppression systems. All work this individual performs must comply with applicable building electrical, mechanical, fire, and environmental codes and company audit requirements. The employee will be a member of the DC Operations team and will report directly to the Facilities Manager. ## Responsibilities Work with other Lightedge personnel, contractors, and vendors to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with data center equipment. Install servers and networking equipment into racks with associated network cabling. Work with project managers and technicians to facilitate new client service installations.
