What They're Looking For.
Must Have
18+ months computer/server hardware troubleshooting, 18+ months computer layer 1/2 networking experience, Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
Nice to Have
Experience in a data center or other critical environment, Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience in an IT-related field, Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+), Understanding of Linux or similar operating systems, Behavioral interviewing and hiring experience, Experience training and onboarding of new team members

Data Center Technician position involves in-depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair as well as participating in an on-call rotation. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
