Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Operations Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team in Västerås. We are seeking a manager to join our growing infrastructure management team. The ideal candidate will have a background in people management, with a proven track record of leading technical teams. You should have an understanding of IT infrastructure and operations support. This role requires a driven leader who can inspire and guide their team to meet the evolving needs of our organization. The Data Center Manager is the leadership role for our compute operations teams within an AWS region. They will have managerial responsibility for safety, security, availability, scaling, costs and efficiency for their department. They lead the team that is installing, maintaining, and de-commissioning network and server equipment in a safe, secure and cost-effective manner across the region. Data Center Operations Manager must manage across each function but also have the ability to dive deep into any given function as needed. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.
