What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related or scholastic equivalent with demonstrated professional EHS credentials, Minimum 2 years of hands-on EHS experience with proven technical knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and codes, Demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in industrial or facilities management environments, knowledge of regulatory frameworks including ISO, OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and ANSI standards with ability to apply them in practical workplace scenarios, High-level computer proficiency including Microsoft Office suite, email systems, and Excel for documentation, reporting, and data analysis, Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to effectively present information to management groups and regulatory agencies, Proven capability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and compliance accuracy
Nice to Have
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) knowledge and experience, Background in fire protection systems design, maintenance, and compliance, Experience developing and managing emergency response programs and safety committee structures, Familiarity with audit program development and execution in regulated environments, Previous experience supporting FDA-regulated facilities or pharmaceuticaliotechnology operations
