Must Have
Formal Electrical Certification, Electrical competencies (Practice & Theory), Knowledge of mechanical systems, Knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems, Valid driving license
Nice to Have
Data Center/mission critical engineering experience, Hands-on experience with fire protection systems, Experience performing direct maintenance and repairs, Familiarity with AWS operational procedures, Experience working in shift-based operations
What You'll Do.
Perform hands-on operation and maintenance
Maintain electrical and mechanical infrastructure
Perform facility operations
Ensure implementation of safety procedures
Adapt to changing operational scenarios
Maintain availability for customers
Ensure maintenance and operation of technical infrastructure
Upkeep and operation of the DC facility
Follow safety standards
Encourage safety culture
Ensure remediation of safety risks
Own safety initiatives
Lead by example in implementing safety protocols
Respond to emergency situations
Coordinate with emergency services
Operate and monitor fire detection and suppression systems
Perform routine inspections and testing of fire alarm
Troubleshoot events within SLAs
Take daily operational readings of equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Execute equipment repairs
Execute facility modifications
Perform routine maintenance tasks
Maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with internal AWS teams
Coordinate contractor work
Perform emergency troubleshooting
Perform emergency repairs
Manual handling and lifting of equipment
