Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel, 5+ years of relevant work in data center or other critical environment experience, 5+ years of experience in data center engineering/operations, Vendor management experience
Nice to Have
5+ years of construction or project management experience, Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License, Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent

Key job responsibilities The Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer ensures all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment operates within contracted parameters while driving innovation to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs. This role encompasses risk management, infrastructure maintenance, vendor management, performance reporting, and root cause analysis. • Serving as technical subject matter expert for hands-on troubleshooting of critical infrastructure including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and building automation systems • Managing contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with established practices, procedures, and local legislation • Conducting root cause analysis for operational issues and implementing corrective actions • Establishing performance benchmarks and preparing comprehensive reports on facility infrastructure operations • Collaborating with DCO managers, business leaders, and partners to coordinate projects,
