What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, occupational risk management, or related field (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience in conducting hazard analysis and risk mitigation strategies, 5+ years of experience in implementation of successful internal EHS programs, 5+ years of experience in management of onsite compliance programs, 5+ years of experience in site inspections/audits, Knowledge of US federal and California health and safety regulations and their applicability to commercial and industrial environments with a concentration in electrical safety, Knowledge of employee exposure monitoring programs related to noise, thermal stress exposure, and use of various chemicals, Preparation and implementation of site-specific training modules/programs, Has or can obtain a valid driver’s license to operate non-commercial motor vehicles in California
Nice to Have
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), NFPA 70E training and certification, RCRA and/or DOT hazardous materials training and experience, Master’s degree in occupational safety and/or health sciences

In the role of Data Center Engineering and Operations (DCEO) Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer, you will make sure teams at our locations surpass all applicable EHS regulations and company programs. This is a fully onsite role where you will be joining a distributed team that works within data centers and laboratories where we launch our first article AI factories for testing. This role offers a rare chance to work with innovative technology, using AI to improve our processes and results. You will work closely with a world-class group of engineers and experts committed to innovation and quality. **What you 'll be doing:** * Coordinate with the DCEO Operations staff, Collocation provider contacts, the company’s real estate management group, and the EHS division to ensure compliance with and advancement of EHS compliance programs, procedures, and training in the south Bay Area of California. This role focuses on understanding and applying federal, California, county, and city worker safety and life safety regulations in our facilities.
