Must Have
Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar, 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles, proficiency in: SQL (data querying, transformation, reporting), Python (scripting, automation, data workflows), C# (or similar backend language), Experience building full-stack applications, including dashboards, portals, or internal tools, Ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders, problem-solving skills and a bias toward automation and efficiency
Nice to Have
Experience in banking, financial services, or proprietary trading environments, Familiarity with financial products, particularly: Bonds Futures, Exposure to trading or operations workflows, Basic understanding of accounting principles (e. g. , P&L, reconciliations, reporting), Experience working with real-time or high-volume data environments

Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Now, DV group affiliates include two broker dealers, a cryptocurrency market making firm, and a bourgeoning investment adviser. Overview: We are seeking a Data/Automation Engineer to partner closely within our Fixed Income Operations Team to design, build, and scale internal tools, dashboards, and automation workflows. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, data, and business operations, with a focus on improving efficiency, visibility, and decision-making across the firm.
