Must Have

at least 6 years of solid professional experience in data architecture, MDM, or SAP master data management, proven track record of modeling master data structures in large-scale transformation projects, deep knowledge of SAP master data (Material, Business Partner, Pricing, BOM, etc.), fully proficient with PIM and PLM systems, fully proficient with modern system integrations (API, ETL, etc.), clear understanding of CRM, WMS, and e-commerce landscapes, fluent German, fluent English

Start: Immediately | Level: Senior | Location: Hamburg, hybrid | Working hours: Fulltime (40h/week) As Data Architect (gn) – Master Data Management, you bear the overall technical and structural responsibility for the architecture of our master data management. In this role, you define the global master data model, design validation rules and workflows, and ensure that data structures are perfectly harmonized across all systems. You will act as the central technical authority at the crucial interface between business requirements and IT implementation. Your mission You hold overall ownership of the master data model and attribute logic across all relevant domains. You define field attributes, mandatory fields, and validation rules You establish the leading system (System of Record / SOR) for each master data object, document the data flows within the system landscape, and define synchronization logics, replication rules, and error handling in close coordination with the integration teams You assume technical responsibility for all MDM-relevant interfaces between SAP, PIM (Akeneo), CRM, WMS (Lea), PLM (Centric), and other systems. In doing so, you reduce complexity, avoid technical workarounds, and support data migrations from extraction to validation You design and document end-to-end master data processes.
