What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph, Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field, 8 + years of relevant experience, 5 + years of relevant experience in data analytics, visualization, or analytics engineering in lieu of a degree, Experience developing data pipelines and analytics workflows using Python, Proficiency in SQL, Data modeling, Hands-on experience developing visual analytics and dashboards, Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau, Experience designing dashboards for operational monitoring, trend analysis, and executive reporting, Analytical mindset with attention to data quality, consistency, and interpretability
Nice to Have
Experience collaborating with users to refine analytical questions and resolve data or visualization challenges, Power BI experience, Tableau or other data visualization certifications, Background in data visualization best practices, UX/UI principles, or visual analytics design, Experience automating analytics workflows and data preparation using Python, Experience with API-based data ingestion and integration, Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, Optional experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker), Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as GitLab, Git, and CI/CD pipelines, Knowledge of open-source analytics and visualization ecosystems
