Data Science/Analytics/Computer Science/ Software Engineering), Experience in Python/Power BI/R Shiny/Tableau/TSQL, Working knowledge of API/SharePoint integration, Experience with Version Control (e. g. Git repositories), Knowledge of requirements gathering and data modelling in Data Science/analytics domain., Relevant industry or research experience in analytics or data science., Understanding of how web applications work including consuming Web APIs, quantitative and computational aptitude

**Te tūnga | The role** We have a 9-month fixed-term opportunity for a Data Analytics and Visualisation Engineer to provide operational and development support for analytical workflows (data pipelines and dashboards) for communicable disease surveillance reporting. You will partner with our experts at PHF Science and our external partners to derive meaningful value from data. The position will be available to start early July. Preference is for the role to be based in either Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch. However remote working may be considered.
