Optimised, modular SQL (Intermediate - advanced proficiency), Building end-to-end, analytics-ready data models in Dataform, Engineering lifecycle (including Git/GitHub version control, merge conflict resolution, and automated unit testing), Building reusable LookML code within Looker, Independently lead medium-to-large analytical projects, Aligning analysis with business needs, Translating complex datasets into actionable insights, Maintaining high data standards through observability (configuring freshness and quality alerts), Producing traceable documentation (Data Dictionaries), Support non-technical teams through clear data storytelling
Nice to Have
Experience in regulated utility or a similar high-volume consumer industry

Build and maintain analytics layer data models
Build and maintain automated pipelines
Transform raw data into high-value strategic assets
Build and maintain end-to-end analytics-ready data models
Apply version control
Ensure data assets are stable
Address alerts about data quality
Plan and execute medium-to-large requests
Translate complex data into actionable insights
Build visual self-serve dashboards
Build reports for users
