Coordinating the delivery of the freshest and best quality product at a competitive retail price
Maintaining a positive company image by providing courteous
and efficient customer service to customers and team members

Determining department goals with store director
Determining weekly work schedule and establishing a daily work plan for the department
Inspecting signage and displays for quality and quantity of merchandise and ordering product for replenishment
Communicating with employees regarding sales and ideas
Handling and satisfying customer issues
Figuring retail pricing and ensuring correct pricing
and overseeing department bookkeeping procedures
Analyzing weekly and monthly sales and trends and comparing to actuals
preparing ad projections
Conducting inventory of the department
and determining pre-orders
Ensuring proper temperatures and storage procedures are maintained to guarantee freshness and control shrink of product
Understanding and troubleshooting equipment and ensuring maintenance is performed
Maintaining strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
Adhering to company policies and individual store guidelines
Reporting to work when scheduled and on time
Ensuring pricing is competitive in the market area
Attending meetings and seminars and participating in continuing education

and working in the sales area

Performing departmental duties as needed
Assisting in other areas of store as needed
