Must Have
hands-on experience operating enterprise security platforms, 3–6 years in cyber security engineering or platform engineering roles, Hands-on experience working with enterprise security platforms, Experience troubleshooting operational issues across security controls, Experience working within distributed global engineering teams
Nice to Have
scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar), working with APIs for platform integrations, infrastructure automation or configuration management, operating security tooling in cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code or DevOps practices, cloud security platform engineering, integrating security tooling within CI/CD pipelines, platform telemetry and observability tooling

**Job Title** Cyber Security Platform Engineer **Location** India (Pune) **Reports to** Cyber Security Engineering Lead (India) with functional alignment to Head of Cyber Platform Engineering **Role Overview** FNZ is building a global Cyber Platform Engineering function responsible for the operation, reliability, and evolution of the firm’s core security platforms. We are seeking a Cyber Security Platform Engineer to join the growing engineering capability in India. This is a hands-on technical role focused on operating and improving FNZ’s production cyber security platforms. The successful candidate will help ensure FNZ’s security platforms remain reliable, well-configured, and continuously improving through engineering, automation, and operational excellence. This role sits within Cyber Platform Engineering, not the Security Operations Centre (SOC). The focus is on engineering and operating security platforms, rather than monitoring alerts or performing SOC analysis. You will work closely with global engineering teams across the UK, US, and APAC. **Core Responsibilities** Operate, maintain, and continuously improve FNZ’s production security platforms to ensure reliability, performance, and operational effectiveness.
