Full Job Description

ICF is actively recruiting for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team on-site in Fort Meade, MD. This role will support customer-related technical requirements and synchronize priorities across the platform’s functional areas. The Cyber Security Engineer will provide subject matter expert guidance on cyber range development and execution, systems administration, cybersecurity, and account management support. This work will be onsite supporting a program at Ft. Meade, MD **What You Will Be Doing:** The Cyber Security Engineer will provide technical (back end) expertise to support large scale cyber exercises and multi-spectrum cyber operations. Duties include: * Serve as a lead advisor for cyber range operations supporting DCO/OCO activities for U.S. Cyber Command (USCC). * Collaborate with experienced cyber operators to provide cyber range expertise that enables DCO and OCO missions for USCC and the service components. * Convert cyber mission force training and mission rehearsal objectives into executable event environments. * Support the design and execution of cyber range events. * Provide subject matter expertise in architecture, authentication, and system security. * Participate in a regular on-call rotation. * Lead continuous process improvements across event activities. * Deliver expert IT, virtual environment, and network support. **Required Experience and Skills:** * Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience. * At least 4 years of experience with CNO, CNE, and CND platforms. * 5 years of experience supporting cyber training, validation exercises, and Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs). * Active high-level security clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph. * Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US citizenship is required. * Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (for example, Security+, CCNA, CISSP, or equivalent). * Strong working knowledge of networking, including DNS, routing
