What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Stress/Structures/Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, 8+ years' experience in commercial aircraft design, Experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for Structures, Demonstrated experience with certification under EASA Part 21J, Experience within seat development and certification
Nice to Have
Deep knowledge of EASA airworthiness regulations, Extensive experience with aircraft interior and prim. structure modification programs, Experienced in leading complex projects, Willing to help develop, mentor and coach less experienced staff, Solid expertise with key engineering tools, Comfortable with a variable work statement, Flexible to support meetings to cover different time zones
What You'll Do.
Lead certification activities
Ensure compliance with design requirements
Serve as technical focal for certification
Address structures/stress issues
Compile structural substantiation documents
Review structural substantiation documents
Certify product integration to aircraft
Integrate new seat and seat furniture
Integrate cabin interior
Integrate class dividers
Certify primary structure changes
Integrate connectivity solutions
Work closely with Boeing teams
Work with internal stakeholders
Work with external stakeholders
Ensure products delivered in correct condition
Ensure products delivered in correct quality
