What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Knowledge of Excel at a basic level, Work 40 hours/week, Experience performing accurate data entry and analysis, Experience in international logistics, cross-border transportation and supply chain, or U.S. Customs rules and regulations, 2+ years of customs entry writing experience
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or business, Licensed customs broker
What You'll Do.
Manage daily customs clearance operations
Collaborate with freight forwarders
Monitor clearance status
Manage issue escalation
Perform accurate data entry for entry filing
Generate and track delivery forms
Ensure compliance requirements are met
Verify completeness of information upon onboarding Customers
Prepare import documentation
Verify accuracy of commercial documentation and charges
Submit documentation to regulatory agencies
Meet daily/weekly KPI targets
Collaborate with other service providers to solve shipment
Collaborate with origin and destination logistics teams
Provide 2nd Tier support for Customer Service queries
Review incoming cross-border shipments
Triage clearance priorities
Coordinate with freight forwarders and carrier partners
Resolve documentation gaps
Track in-flight entries
Respond to regulatory agency queries
Escalate time-sensitive issues
Serve as subject-matter expert for customer service teams
Translate customs requirements into guidance
