Full Job Description
As an AWS Customer Solutions Manager you will be responsible for helping guide AWS customers along their journey to the cloud. In this role you will ensure that all AWS teams are working together effectively and efficiently to deliver outcomes for the customer. You will be a trusted partner to our customers, leveraging your experience with cloud transformations to help shepherd them through their stages of AWS adoption. You will guide customers through the operational, educational, and governance aspects of a successful cloud journey, translating technical and business requirements into adoption roadmaps that deliver measurable value. You will interface with customer and AWS leadership, driving collaboration between the core groups (Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services), product/engineering teams, and customer teams, planning and supporting major workload initiatives. You will translate strategic initiatives into executable actions, working backwards from your customers’ key milestones. The execution of education plans, roadmap to business outcome alignments, Executive Briefing Sessions, and go-live events and transitions are a few items owned by the CSM that are critical to the success of our customers’ cloud journey. You will drive customer value realization, building business cases and ensuring adoption leads to measurable outcomes such as efficiency gains, cost savings, or growth. You will leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to accelerate delivery, identify risks, and build mechanisms that scale execution across your engagements.
