What You'll Do.

Receive telephone customer requests for price quotations

Achieve and maintain rapport with customers

Give customers the best possible service

Use AS400/EView to retrieve customer information

Make changes on customer purchase orders

Ensure correct codes are used for retrieving and

Follow up on inquiries by checking computer runs

Work closely with transportation and salespersons regarding deliveries

Make price quotations by phone on price/order book

Maintain systems file of active orders

Post activity such as change notices

Maintain sound working knowledge and expertise of produce

Provide expert consulting to customers

Be current on all products/produce on hand and

Notify and assist salespersons by communication of customer's

professional relationships with customers and fellow

Provide support and assistance for outside salespersons

Participate in special projects deemed necessary

Keep a current call schedule including times

Submit all orders before scheduled cut off times

Communicate all breaks to supervisor to ensure phone

Perform other duties as assigned

In addition, courteously answer and direct phone calls and communicate any food safety or product concerns to the appropriate groups.
