What You'll Achieve.
Ensure a quick and easy customer experience; Keep the store clean and clutter free
Industry & Context.
Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching, Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds, Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (Stock and Fulfillment Only)

What You'll Do.
Ensure the salesfloor stays 'runway ready'
Assist customers with a variety of transactions
Operate a point-of-sale system
Handle bulky and heavy items
Create a smooth fitting room experience
Sort and return clothing to the salesfloor
Keep stockrooms organized
Ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
Adhere to all operational
merchandise and asset protection standards
Promote initiatives like Nordstrom Rewards program
unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise
Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner
Prepare and ship customer’s orders
Utilize inventory management systems to scan
process and research merchandise shipments
Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
Provide general support to the store
