What They're Looking For.
Must Have
H. S. diploma/GED required, Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required, Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required, Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations. advanced required, Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements. advanced required
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
What You'll Do.
Plan and direct operations
Improve productivity and efficiency
Provide leadership and direction to dispatch staff
Oversee communication functions for economical vehicle utilization
Responsible for all aspects of daily fleet operation
and procedures for efficient operations
and assigns drivers and vehicles
First point of contact for operational information
Submits recommendations for compliance with transportation policies
Conducts continuous analysis of vehicle and driver schedules
Reviews and analyzes reports to evaluate productivity
and monitors progression of new drivers
Monitors turnover and evaluates operation mileage
Enforces compliance and administrative policies
and government regulations
Directs operation and maintenance of equipment
