Full Job Description

As part of our Sales team, the Customer Account Manager will have the opportunity to lead Shopmonkey’s customer expansion initiatives in our SMB segment. You are responsible for building relationships with customers and expanding their spend with Shopmonkey via additional licenses, add-ons, and new products. This is a closing role cross selling into the customer base of thousands of Shopmonkey users. Please note this is a hybrid role, with in-office expectations 2 days/week in our Larkspur, California office. As a Customer Account Manager, you will: Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality opportunities within our SMB customer base Define and execute new sales strategies to effectively showcase the impact Shopmonkey can make in customer’s lives Identify areas of the software that our customers are engaging in, drive deeper adoption, up-sell and cross-sell additional products and services Communicate accurate and realistic forecast information to the management team by ensuring our CRM and payments processing platform are being utilized and managed effectively Learn tried and true SaaS sales strategies Learn all about the Shopmonkey full product suite, our customer's journey, and the automotive industry Empathize with customers, understand their needs and challenges from their POV, recommend and take action on areas where we can help Communicate thoughtful, customized solutions that help customers move forward and grow their business To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance. Experience managing month to month and multi annual contracts with multiple products in use Ability to understand Shopmonkey's technology platform and build meaningful relationships with customers of varying technical savvy.
