At Rosebel Gold Mines N.V., the Custom Broker plays a key role in ensuring smooth and compliant import and export of goods required for mining operations. This position supports operational efficiency by managing all customs-related processes in line with national and international regulations. Your key responsibilities will include: * Manage and process import and export customs declarations for all mining-related goods and materials. * Ensure compliance with customs laws, trade regulations, and company policies. * Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal departments to facilitate timely clearance of shipments. * Maintain accurate customs documentation, records, and reporting for audit and compliance purposes. * Monitor and resolve any customs delays, inspections, or discrepancies to minimize operational disruption. ## Requirements The ideal candidate will have: * A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. * At least 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in customs clearance, import/export, or logistics within a mining or industrial environment. * Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade compliance. * Excellent organizational and analytical skills. * Ability to work under pressure, solve problems efficiently, and meet tight deadlines. * Ability to work under pressure, solve problems efficiently, and meet tight deadlines. * Willingness to work at our Brokopondo mine site on a rotational schedule (14/5 days on, 7/2 days off). If selected, you will be required to submit a Police Clearance Certificate (“Bewijs van Goedgedrag”). Please initiate the request at your respective District Commissariat.
