What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School graduate or may be offset by experience, Minimum of 1 year of application experience, Valid driver’s must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy, Must obtain and maintain required state commercial applicator certification as required by state, Minimum of an Ag CDL
Nice to Have
Basic mechanical skills for daily maintenance of equipment, Familiar with crop chemicals, farming practices, crop characteristics, and weed identifications, Willingness to adapt to changing application technologies as well as seasonal variations in workload responsibilities, Accurately locate application site and read field maps, Must be a team player and enjoy the effort necessary to contribute to a successful operation and company, Required overtime as the season demands
What You'll Do.
Apply products safely and accurately
Operate and maintain Company equipment
Build and maintain customer relations
Provide feedback to customers and manager
Provide quality application of products
Utilize information and technology for applications
transporting products
Obtain/maintain applicator certification
Perform daily equipment inspection
Maintain safety equipment
Maintain applicator and equipment logs
Perform equipment calibration and maintenance
Comply with regulatory guidelines
Assist team members in physical duties
Assist with operational scouting
Assist with product transportation
Assist with customer services
decals and DOT numbers
Serve as location Safety Coordinator
