About the Team ACCEL Schools is seeking a Custodian at Sheffield Academy in Sheffield, Ohio to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the school building. About the Opportunity: Keep the school grounds safe, secure, and clean at all times Perform all routine cleaning, housekeeping, and basic maintenance for the school as prescribed by the custodial duty listing, including, but not limited to: Removing trash Cleaning and wiping down of blackboards, hand railings, doors, and other surfaces as needed Changing light bulbs Vacuuming and mopping floors Cleaning windows and disinfecting student and staff restrooms Assisting with cleaning the food service area Painting Set up and takes down lunch tables in the multi-purpose room as required Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs as needed Maintain the external appearance of the building, including the parking lot, playground, sidewalks, steps, and lawns Perform snow removal activities as needed
