What You'll Do.
Complete any work assigned during scheduled shifts.
Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure cultivation duties are efficiently and timely completed in a manner consistent with the company’s Standard Operation Procedure for each duty.
Initial Cultivation Associate duties will involve essential Cultivation operations and may be expanded over time.
Daily responsibilities include: plant work
and specifically (but not exclusively) big leaf and bottom stripping in flower rooms
seed-to-sale tracking data input
sweeping and disinfecting flower/vegetative rooms
disposing of used growing media
preparing rooms for a refill
and all general cleaning.
Weekly responsibilities include: spot cleaning
flipping flower blocks
consolidating vegetative trays
and light maintenance.
Monthly responsibilities include: harvesting and big leafing
applying predatory insects
hanging sticky cards for IPM monitoring
helping with monthly on-hand inventory counts
assisting with safety meetings
and rotating mother plants.
Follow all applicable operational guidelines
comply with verbal directives
and practice and/or implement all safety
and the like presented during training
in Standard Operating Procedures
or otherwise when performing job duties.
Understand and follow all GACP/GMP guidelines throughout the facility.
Perform such other duties as employee is qualified to perform and may be assigned.
and mix fertilizer stock tanks to ensure consistent nutrient application.
Monitor media moisture levels
and system performance to ensure consistent nutrient delivery.
Perform room walkthroughs to safeguard against irrigation abnormalities such as dry or oversaturated plants.
Assist with troubleshooting and light maintenance of irrigation systems including but not limited to filters
Conduct routine scouting of all growth stages for pests
and environmental stressors.
Accurately and succinctly document all scouting activities and findings into the QuickBase scouting form.
Apply IPM treatments including foliar sprays
and biological control agents (BCAs).
Assist with maintaining and improving sanitation and biosecurity practices to support pest and disease prevention.
Immediately report plant health trends or concerns to management.
Ensure all applications and activities are compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned cultivation areas
including irrigation and spray equipment
grow rooms and tables.
