Must be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs, including patient lifting, positioning aids, portable ultrasound machines, and assisting with minor patient movements, Requires physical flexibility to bend, reach, twist, and adjust equipment or patients as needed, Requires prolonged standing or walking while performing scans, moving between patients, and positioning equipment, Physical endurance is essential to complete multiple consecutive scans
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
RT (R), (CT), (ARRT), and BLS certifications and state licensure where necessary, Ability to function as a CT Technologist performing examinations of patients of all ages, Must be able to pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screening and background check
What You'll Do.
Coordinating and completing daily procedures
Prioritizing the sequence of operations
Following through with all the necessary paperwork
Performing examinations of patients of all ages
CT examinations and procedures that require the use of contrast agents
Managing patients during complex procedure exams
Scanning in and labeling documents appropriately
Ensuring images are released to radiologists promptly
Following all radiation protection and dose reporting policies and processes
Assisting other technologists when necessary to maintain productivity
Assisting radiologist with imaging procedures
and injecting contrast
Conduct and document High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures with precision
