Must Have
RT (R), (CT), (ARRT), and BLS certifications, Ability to function as a CT Technologist in performing examinations of patients of all ages, Demonstrates competency in PACS process, Performs daily QA process, Effective communication skills, Excellent patient care skills, Functions proficiently with all technical equipment in diagnostic modality, Properly uses radiation protection and shielding material to ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines, Up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment, Pass any needed health screenings, including drug screening and background check
What You'll Do.
Performing examinations of patients of all ages
Performing CT examinations and procedures that require the use of contrast agents
Managing patients during complex CT procedure exams
Scanning and labeling documents appropriately
Resolving QA issues promptly
Ensuring images are released to radiologists promptly
Following all radiation protection and dose reporting policies and processes
Coordinating and completing daily procedures
Prioritizing the sequence of operations
Completing the actual exam
Following through with all the necessary paperwork
