What They're Looking For.
Must Have
RT (R), (CT), (ARRT), and BLS certifications, state licensure where necessary, ability to function as both a CT Technologist and X-Ray Technologist - performing examinations of patients of all ages, up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment, pass any needed health screenings, including drug screening and background check
What You'll Do.
coordinating and completing daily procedures
prioritizing the sequence of operations
following through with all the necessary paperwork with minimal supervision
managing patients during complex procedure exams
Solve minor equipment problems for both X-Ray and CT
Scan in and label documents appropriately
ensure images are released to radiologists promptly
Follow all radiation protection and dose reporting policies and processes
Assist other technologists when necessary to maintain productivity
Assist radiologist with imaging procedures
