**About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital** In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves. **Scope of work** Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection. **Overview** \- This is a paid apprenticeship model which is a 16-week program that combines related online education through the ASRT, and on the job learning at Corewell Health. \- Completion of this program satisfies the ARRT 16-credit Structured Education Requirements for CT. \- After successful completion of all 12 modules of the program, participants will receive 16 CE credits and a document from the ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists) recognizing their achievement. \- Program includes requirement for a 1-year commitment as a CT Tech (at a .5 FTE status or higher) with Corewell Health that will begin upon entering a CT Technologist position. **Qualifications** * Required Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program. * CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required OR * CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board OR * CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist * CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or * CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cros
