What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent required, Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology /Diagnostic Imaging Program, State of Florida License as a General Radiographer, CPR and BLS certification required, ARRT registered and ARRT Certified in primary modality or within one (1) year of hire date
Nice to Have
One (1) year of relevant experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Perform complex procedures in CT
Operate radiographic equipment
Obtain and examine CT scan orders
Ensure orders are appropriate
Identify patient service requirements
Obtain necessary consents and education
Perform specialized tasks with CT scanners
Integrate patient data and adapt exam
Adhere to CT protocols
Demonstrate competence in performing CT scans
Assist positioning patients
Maintain aseptic technique
Assist radiologist with imaging procedures
Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
Charge procedures and supplies
Dispense oral contrast
Load and operate power injectors
Maintain accurate patient records
Gain patient cooperation
Apply age-specific care needs
Perform basic nursing functions
Initiate life support measures
Keep work area clean and sanitary
Stock exam/dressing rooms
Provide on call coverage
Report unusual findings
Assist with clerical functions
Provide orientation and training
Provide education and training to students
Abide by hospital/department HR policies
Adhere to regulatory body guidelines
