What You'll Achieve.
ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of commissioning activities; ensuring systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project requirements, safety standards, and technical specifications; resolution and closure of construction and commissioning deficiencies; completion of commissioning documentation
Industry & Context.
troubleshoot; Identify, document, and track construction and commissioning deficiencies through to resolution and closure; resolve issues and constraints
on-site for 2 weeks, 2 out of 11-hour days, flights and camp provided
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Journeyperson certification as an Instrumentation Technician or Electrician, 4–10+ years of relevant experience in industrial E&I environments, commissioning and start-up experience in brownfield or operating facility environments, working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, Proficient with computer systems and documentation tools
Nice to Have
dual-ticket Journeyperson certification, Previous experience in complex industrial projects, Supervisory training or certification, Safety certification
What You'll Do.
Ensure all E&I work is completed safely and in compliance with all project safety programs and procedures
Act as a working supervisor
performing trade work while also overseeing field crews as required
and inspect electrical and instrumentation installations
and terminations of MCCs
and troubleshoot instrumentation systems
and track construction and commissioning deficiencies through to resolution and closure
Support completion of commissioning documentation including check sheets
Maintain accurate redline documentation including as-built/as-left drawings
Participate in commissioning meetings
including toolbox talks
and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) sessions
Support planning and execution of commissioning activities
providing input into detailed work plans
Monitor schedule performance and productivity
collaborating with project teams to resolve issues and constraints
