What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license, At least one year of experience operating heavy equipment, Hold a solid understanding of the Highway Safety Code, Be autonomous, Demonstrate organizational skills, Be responsible, Maintain vigilance and be able to effectively assess your surroundings, Possess customer service skills
Nice to Have
Have a vocational diploma in heavy equipment operation, Hold a Class 1 driver’s license
What You'll Do.
Perform all handling required for preparing the vehicle
Operate and maneuver a piece of equipment
Operate the crusher to compact and crush vehicles
Load crushed vehicles onto a trailer
Maintain accurate records
Complete the daily activity report
Work safely and comply with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures
Comply with the Highway Safety Code
Ensure proper use and functioning of company equipment
Perform pre‑use inspections of all equipment
Monitor machinery to ensure proper functioning
Perform any other related duties
