CPR – American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire, Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate, Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, Follows all safety protocols and uses personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, Follows appropriate patient identification protocols, following established procedures, adheres to the ethical and legal standards and behavioral expectations as set forth in the code of business conduct and company policies, comply with both the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices and Privacy Policies and Procedures, comply with all data security guidelines established within the Company’s Handbook of Privacy Policies and Practices and Information Security Policy, comply with the company’s Code of Business Conduct, adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations as well as company policies and training requirements

Must Have
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three months related experience and/or or equivalent combination of education and experience, Internet email software, McKesson PHS, CPR – American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire, Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate, Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
What You'll Do.
providing support to the operating rooms and/or sterile processing
performing a variety of tasks
assisting with instrument processing
assisting with room turnover
assisting with supply management
maintains cleanliness and sanitation in the Operating Room (OR) and Sterile Processing Department (SPD)
assisting with room turnover
daily and terminal cleaning procedures
completes assigned tasks in SPD under direct supervision
anticipates equipment needs based on scheduled cases
transports equipment to and from the OR as needed
maintains adequate supply levels
restocking designated areas
ordering department supplies
ensuring proper room setup for upcoming cases
responding to patient emergencies
assisting medical staff as needed
assists with patient positioning
assists with identification
assists with safe transport to and from the operating room
assisting with transfers
providing post-mortem care and transport to the morgue
follows all safety protocols
uses personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
transports specimens to the lab
follows appropriate patient identification protocols
obtains and returns blood and blood products from Blood Bank following established procedures
